Love on the Ballot series launches

She’ll do whatever it takes to win the election— even date the enemy.

Abigail has big dreams, starting with winning her town’s local school board. Unfortunately, her rival is her former college crush, who has always been more popular than her. Even worse, after a really bad morning, both their reputations are ruined.

There’s just one way to salvage them, though, and that is to become a couple. A fake couple. A fake couple who definitely cannot stand each other and certainly won’t fall in love for real. After all, that kind of stuff only happens in the books Abigail writes about, not real life . . .

Love on the Ballot is a series of standalones spotlighting positive closed-door romance in chaotic times.

Smart and funny, this romance is an endearing quick read. I flew through it in one sitting and recommend full immersion. Drew’s prose is genuinely funny and I also love the romance trope references: ‘At this point, I’m not sure if this is a rescue or a kidnapping, but I’m invested enough to see it through. Whatever this is, it’s excellent research for the morally gray hero in my work in progress.’

I know nothing about school board elections, but the dual POV and the two teams of campaigners made a really fun dynamic. I appreciated the light touch faith elements too.

Abigail and Logan’s growing romance had all the feels and I thoroughly recommend this.
