BookBub is a free service where you sign up to receive their newsletter to your inbox. You tell them, to a very specific degree, what you like to read. For example, I’ve selected a number of categories from contemporary romance to sci fi.
BookBub will then send me a regular email with ebook deals in these relevant categories. Sometimes books are free, or on a 99p promotion. Most books they feature will fall into those two price categories. It can be a great way to try out a new-to-you author without breaking the book budget.
What I didn’t know was that I could be getting even more specific updates from BookBub, if I followed my favourite authors. So if I follow Mhairi McFarlane, then I get notified whenever one of her books is down to 99p. Useful if something’s been on my TBR just waiting for the opportune moment.
BookBub don’t sell books directly; they just provide links to go to Amazon, Kobo, Apple or Google.
