Introducing The Day of the Dice! Well, this is actually my first novel. I’ve been working on it since 2019, and it’s the first in a trilogy. As the image above shows, it’s a retelling of Pride and Prejudice in a post-apocalyptic setting. Even though it’s set in the future, it feels like the past. There’s limited technology and the small town of one hundred people believe they’re the last community on Earth… although it turns out, they were wrong. You can watch my aesthetic reel here to get more of the feel for it!
Sound like something you’d like to read? I hope so! I am opening sign ups now for BETA and ARC readers. BETA readers receive a document version of the story and give feedback to me. It doesn’t have to be a line-by-line commentary! I’d be happy with just some overall comments and observations: which parts worked well, which parts perhaps didn’t work as well or need development. Your comments will help me to hone the story ready for its final version. If you agree to this, I’ll send you the first part of the story and you can see if you like it, and if you’d like to BETA on the whole version. You would need to be able to read it over the next month, as I want to send out ARCS (finished version) in July.
ARC readers receive the finished version of the story as a PDF or epub in July. They read and then write a review. (Amazon will only allow reviews to be posted from the day of publication onwards. I’m looking at 6th August as pub date but this might change) Ideally you can post on social media to help me promote the book.
